Sunday Aaron hurt his back
4 hours in the ER
Massive pain relievers cut him slack.
Monday Brielle’s eyes woke up gunky
Her cold turned to Pink Eye
Gross and funky
Tuesday the chores seemed at their worse
Laundry and garbage and chores oh my
Two cranky kiddos await our reply
Wednesday there seemed to be a reprieve
Wednesday night had Brielle screaming in her sleep
Off to the Dr’s on Thursday we go…. What’s that? An ear infection OH NO!
Thursday and Friday both seem a blur
But mama’s now sick and pregnancy halted all cures
Coughing and sneezing and bearing it all
Trying to keep up with it all.
Saturday awoke us with Cailynn’s eyes to
Both covered in sticky icky Pink Eye goo!
Eye drops now added to baby C’s routine….. oh the screaming and hollering
Please let this just be a dream!
Saturday night it’s finally bedtime….
Poor Brielle decided it was once again her time!
Puking all over was now in her
So bathtime THEN bedtime…. Sighed all three of us!
Barely in bed, then the call came around
Grandma had fallen…. Oh please send in the clowns!
What more could happen this time around?
Sunday arrived as the day slowly dawned
We laid in bed cowering wondering
“What next would go wrong???”
Grandma’s doctor was missing
Her surgery post poned…
Heavily sedated she waited and waited
Till the surgery was finally done!
Monday we woke and wondered
“What could be next”
Cailynn discovered "finger painting"
OH WHAT A MESS
Tonight we will cower under our beds
And pray and wait for what lies ahead!
2008 we cant take it no more….
Take your illness and go pound on someone else’s door!
And YES that little snot had stuck her hands DOWN her diaper from the BACK!!! all over her face, hair and anything else she could reach! I was ready to ship her off!!!! So new rule, Cailynn has to have a ONESIE ON AT ALL TIMES!!!!
