Brielle at her 2 year old~bless her little heart~best! Current mood: watching 10.5 with Aaron.... Ash bailed on us!
So we put Brielle in her bed last night... she SCREAMED for 2 hours! We proceeded to take turns going in to help comfort her.... and the stinker was up till 4am! Although she didnt cry anymore, she was awake and staring big eyed for HOURS! We could not get her to go to sleep. Finally about 3am I took her in bed with us "ur woom mommy" and let her lay with us, about 15 minutes later she points at the pack n play and said "my bed". Who's going to argue with her at that point????? so needless to say we all finally got to bed after 4am. Miss Cailynn was up at 7! She was bright eyed and ready to party, play and pig out!
Another Brielle funny for today. Aaron went to feed her lunch (after her very long and much needed nap ended at 4pm) and he told her to pray, her response was "Cailynn Pray" LOL..... kids just crack me up!
I think thats it for today.... OH except we finally figured out a girl name for this little shrimp. So if she ends up being a boy.... she's out of luck! LOL I think after naming 3 girls, we just can't come up with a boy name..... *sighs*

Operation "Big Girl" Current mood: melancholy
Tonight, for the first time since she was born.... my baby Brielle will be sleeping in her twin sized bed! She's been falling out of the bed here and there so we figured it was time to move her up. I'll post pictures later!

With all that i’ve done wrong... i must have done something right.... Current mood: Proud Parent
Well technically we did right.
We got B and C a new doll center for their baby dolls, they're both very much into playing with their babies...Well Aaron told me while I was at work today he was watching them play. B took a baby and put her in the high chair part, and then folded her hands... started muttering with her head down and then said "AMEN"! and proceeded to feed her baby doll! Moments like these just make ya go AWEEEEE :)

Lions and tigers and bears oh MY! Current mood: watching Doodlebops with B
Well ladybugs anyways..... Ashley opted for the first time ever to stay home and pass out candy instead of going with us to take the girls T or T'n. Thanks to Uncle Mark, she was able to stay home (Safely) and we were able to take the lil bits out for some candy!
Cailynn's first official house to T or T at gave her a bag of animal crackers, and the child didnt leave the stroller all night! She was having a blast eating her cookies! Brielle on the other hand was a seasoned pro.... guess those two mall T or T's really gave her the right idea on what to do! She would walk up to a house and say "Treat NO trick"! It was so funny. If the people put candy in her basket without her seeing (she would look around taking it all in).... when she realized they were there..... she would hold up her bucket, even if we told her they had given her candy she would just look at them with those big blue eyes and go "Pleasee???" it was funny, Aaron thinks she did it on purpose to get more candy LOL. She came home with quite a "booty", and was anxious to try some.... she even shared with Daddy, sissy and Uncle Mark!
I'm still trying to edit the Halloween Costume pics.... so i'll get those posted when I get them done! There doesnt seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done!

Jackson Davis Cyril is here! Current mood: contemplative
Welcome to the world new little nephew! Its amazing how close you feel to the wonder of God when you hold a new baby for the first time! That perfect creation, and gift from God wrapped up in such a little being! Jackson, as you might have guessed is perfect! He's adorable and wide eyed! His big brothers thought he was great and cant wait to take him home!
We love you baby Jackson (aka Jax)!

Sometimes its hard.... Current mood: hopeful
To stand between the world and the God I choose to serve and praise....
How hard is it to keep in mind Christian's are human, and not perfect, just forgiven.
If I can't forgive a fellow Christian, and show them Christ... then how in the world can I show the unsaved?
It seems to me like the line between secularism and Christianity is getting more and more blured.... while more and more are lost from him.
We stand and fight amongst ourselves instead of getting out there and following our true calling.
How sad is it when instead of trusting the word of a fellow sister in Christ, and realizing how hard it is for them to stand up when called by God.... you're quick to jump all over them and accuse them of slander.... since when do you leave the plank in your eye and instead pick the sliver out of theirs?
God never promised life would be fair or easy.... but he did promise the eternal payout to those who choose to follow him. How awesome is it that at the end of the day, when I pray for my children and the events in my life and other prayer requests.... I know that ultimately HE'S in control!

Day three! Telling the parents..... *gulp* Current mood: relieved

Well we went over and told my parents tonight.... my mom does NOT take it well if she finds out other people knew before her, or if we kept it for months from her. We've had a strained relationship since early summer, so neither Aaron or I wanted to "make waves" so we took over the poem, and Cailynn was wearing her "i'm a big sister" bib.... and they were excited. My mom was really excited when she found out that the baby was due July 4th! She has wanted a July 4th baby since she started having us kids! We did tell them that while we were telling them right away, we werent telling everyone else till Di had her baby, so we didnt "rob" her... and they seemed to respect that, and the cool thing is my mom did say "well who CAN i tell?" so that shows she was excited.... and i told her "anyone that wont blab it to family" LOL So I'm so relieved! Not that I didnt think my parents would be supportive.... but if you knew half of what went on between June and now, you'd understand my hesitancy. (is that even a word????) ..>
Aaron sent the poem to his parents in email and they were soooo excited. I think his dad was very excited that there's one more chance for a "Laird legacy"..... so that was a blessing and a half!

Wow... day 2 Current mood: calm
We told Ashley last night, so that she wouldnt overhear us talking and get upset that we were keeping it from her. She was surprisingly excited. Dont let her fool ya, in all her teenage wonder, there's still a glimmer of my little girl that I see from time to time. The grin that she had when I showed her the bib we got for Cailynn ("I'm a big sister") was priceless! I'm sure she'll have a variety of emotions through the next 9 months..... but she's old enough to understand and share in our excitement, joy and wonder! Brielle and Cailynn on the other hand are clueless! ;) How did i ever become so blessed????

Once upon a time in a land far a way
There lived a Princess Brielle
Who loved to dance and play!
She had a little Cailybug and a big sister Ashley to...
But something was a missing...
A new little baby that's WHO!
She asked us for a brother...
To cuddle all her own
She promised to play nice with him
Even if a SHE came along....
So patiently we're waiting...
the testing now is done
