Or so it seems. It does seem like however the laws of "nature" will ultimately win out. "What goes up, must come down", "It's always darkest before the storm." and of course dont forget "Murphy's law".
So now it seems we're hesitantly holding our breath, watching Aaron's employment issues slowly improve. But at who's expense? While the economy is not picking up the way President Obama promised it would, it seems that Aaron's boss was correct in stating "It will be the last man (or company) standing." It appears that it is Aaron's employer that has made it that far! So while other steel mills around the country are continuing their lay-offs, and closing "indefinately". Charter Steel is starting to pick up business and running strong (for the month of May so far). Can I say right now how bitter sweet this is? We have no promises for tommorrow (well June) but who does? So we dont know what that is going to bring. We DO know that May will be a decent month for him, and all of Charter/IMS and for that we're extremely thankful. But it appears its at other companies/families expense! For that we're extremely saddened and our heartfelt sympathies go out to them. After 6 months of this lay off business, we're no where near back on our "feet" but have learned some valuable lessons. I would love to say that we could start financially helping out others, but we're NOT there yet... but soon. Because if there's anything i've learned through this is that our God is amazing, and the lessons you learn while walking through the valley of adversity just can't be duplicated!
As i'm typing this we just got notification that Aaron's unemployment appeal for the week of 2/21 has been denied. Shame on them. But I told Aaron its better to "let go and let God" handle it. So please keep that in your prayers as well!
Aaron made an appt for the Neurosurgeon for his back. Hopefully they will be able to do something NON surgical to make him feel better permanently!
Hugs to you all and have a wonderful day!

The fact that Aaron still has a job in this economy is something to be grateful for.
And it seems as though you are truly grateful for that.
The down side, of course, is that there are other people out there losing their jobs at a record pace.
Hopefully those people can keep their faith through these trying times.
I hope that Aaron's appointment goes well.
Have a great day!!
Thanks Dawn for the ticker! I just put it on my blog :)
