So today is Friday....

And for ONCE the girls are playing up in the playroom without crying (without their beloved Dean here to entertain them.... man i love that boy!)!~ I've got a blessed quiet time that if you know my house, you know thats a rarity! I can hear Aaron and Delainey snoring peacefully (ok not really but the mental picture is just to cute) and the girls getting along playing upstairs (that I can hear, but as opposed to the bickering/fighting/crying i'll take that blessed noise any day)! So instead of cleaning (oh yeah that needs to be done desperately, the dog has decided she is to good for the cheerios the baby sneaks and throws her on the floor) i'm here blogging, reading my favorite blogs and commenting where i feel i have something worth while to contribute!

I'm also mentally formulating my "NOT ME"'s for NOT ME MONDAYS! so i cant share them yet! LOL

Please pray for us, Aaron's work is picking up finally which is GREAT news, but the girls and I are having some adjustment issues..... we all miss having him around! Please also pray that we figure out the perfect way to tell my family about baby "E"..... i'm still terrified to tell them.... and with communications at a standstill, there just doesnt seem to be an opportunity~!

I suppose thats enough rambling for one afternoon..... Dani i've made it one week! Well i suppose after tommorrow, arent you proud of me? :)

Since you are new, I will explain why I don't consider myself a mommy.

I have no children of my own. Never have and most likely, never will. And, I am okay with that.

I am a babysitter. I was a nanny for years and now I watch one Little Diva in my home.

I also watch my four munchkins from time to time.

All of the kids in my life are like my family.

Little Diva has her mom, but the 4 munchkins mom lives in another state. So I try to be there for them as much as I can.

About me and my ABCDE's!!

I'm the proud mom to FIVE adorable girls! My oldest is 17 1/2 years and my youngest is already 18 MONTHS!. I started this blog to keep track of all the funny, cute and "aweeee" moments I get the joy of seeing in my kiddos!

My name is Dawn and i'm happily, hopelessly in love with my "Knight" Aaron. We've been married almost 7 years and have our 17 1/2 year old daughter from my first marriage Ashley. Aaron's been an amazing dad to her, and any fears that he had that he would "treat" her different when we had kids, were completely unfounded! Sometimes I think she gets along better with him than me!

A is for Ashley our beautiful Red Head! She's amazing! I know we "have" to love our teens... but how many people can say they genuinly LIKE the person they're becoming! She's got such a beautiful spirit and a love for people. She wants to become a Psychiatrist when she "grows up" and I think thats a perfect "job" for her! She's very level headed and gives great advice and observations!

B is for Brielle our bubbly, yet sassy 5 year old~!! She's definitely my "mini me" and reminds me daily that SHE is the center of the universe (in her eyes)! She's an amazing little being, and a GREAT big sister! She can hold her own against Ash as well! She's got an amazing love for God!

C is for Cailynn my sweet sweet girl! She's 4! She's brilliant, and will give B a run for her money every single chance she gets! Her eyes sparkle and her smile warms the dreariest heart! Although she's laid back, she can definitely hold her own when push comes to shove!

D is for Delainey my precious princess. Although we got off to a "rocky" start, I've never had to deal with a colicky "high maintenance" infant before.... about 4 months something just "clicked" and she became this amazing little creature that has lightened our lives and brightened our days! She might only be 2 1/2, but don't ever forget she's the diva! Her laugh and clapping when we do something that pleases her are simply the sweetest things you have ever seen! She was recently diagnosed with Hypotonia and we think that is the underlying cause to her speech delay and sensory issues!

E is for Eden Emilyse who arrived very much the same way God sent her to us, in her own time, in her own very much unforgettable way! She's now 18 months old (wow how that time has flown) and is very much loved, cherished and has wiggled her way into our hearts in only the way this little sweet surprise could! God truly blessed us with her little magnificent self!
